Following yesterday’s (19th Sept) NJC Trade Union Meeting between UNISON , GMB and UNITE representatives discussions it was decided to wait for the outcome of GMB ballot of School based staff also UNITE industry action for 30 days then reconvene to assess results.
UNISON understand our members may be unhappy with this decision and would want their back payment now, this is not a decision UNISON are comfortable with however we can reassure you that we will be pursuing in the meeting that we settle this years 2023 pay claim and we get the back payment in our members pay as soon as possible.
